Hello!
My name is Melissa Balmer and I'm a writer, ideator, and creativeP.R. strategist. Quite a mouthful, I know. In a nutshell, I help small
companies to focus their message and get the good word out in
interesting, creative, and community supportive ways.
This site is called "Maitri Quest" after the Tibetan Buddhist
concept of "Maitri," known as "loving kindness" or "unconditional
friendliness." I have found that by using the idea of Maitri, and also
another Buddhist concept of the "Beginner's Mind" the following has
happened:
-My life travels in the most rich, interesting, and rewarding ways.
-My networking skills and creative thinking flow easily and naturally,
and I am often surprised by the marvelous ways things blossom, come
together and connect for myself and those I work with.
