I'm a writer, creative thinker and P.R. consultant living in Long Beach California.
I love working with small progressive companies that are looking to get the word out
about their goods and services in innovative, fun, and socially conscious ways such
as I've been privileged to do with the fashion forward gift rep company L.A. Productions,
(which helped launch BedHead Pajamas) fine art photographer Linnea Lenkus, the
hot new tea line Naja Tea, and as I'm doing with now with the 70 year old Long Beach
landmark Morry's of Naples.
I realize that successful marketing and P.R., just how you reach out both to the public
and the media for measurable results, are still a mystery for many. As a writer myself,
and the former editor of Long Beach Magazine, I understand both sides. The two
most important things are an engaging story and personal relationships. At the end of
the day, and quite frankly at the beginning, succeeding in life and business are both
about personal relationships. No matter how fantastic your product or service not much
will come of either if people don't like interacting with you.
I have placed my clients in national publications such as Modern Bride, Los Angeles
Magazine and MTV’s Virgin Chronicles. I have recently placed Morry’s in The Press
Telegram (twice), Long Beach Magazine, District Weekly, The Grunion Gazette, and the Signal
Tribune.
With this site I explore how we can create greater happiness and success in our personal
relationships by using the wonderful and useful wisdom in the great spiritual traditions,
to creatively and consciously make the connections with others we so desire.
